Gramin and Nagar Vikas Parishad (GENVP) is a voluntary organization working for the upliftment of the socially dis-advantaged lot in Bihar. The target benificiaries of GENVP projects are women, children and the physically challenged. The founders of GENVP observed that governmental programs were not reaching the intended beneficiaries. Thus, with the involvement of local rural people and other professionals’ educationists, social activists and farmers, Gramin Evam Nagar Vikas Parishad was born to try and address issues of rural development. Mr. Ram Kishor Prasad Singh is the General Secretary of GENVP. He was actively involved in the famous JP Movement launched against corruption and protection of democracy in the state of Bihar. |

Children of Mother Earth (COME) is a voluntary organisation which believes the world is one family. It aims to create a civic society in backward areas of developing countries. COME is endeavouring to do so by establishing a system of social networks through education, welfare and medical services.It was founded in 1998 by a Singaporean engineer Mr. Ravi Rai, who gave up his career to serve humanity.
